Grad Photos

Had my grad photos taken today - even though its only January, its inevitable I'm going to have to graduate someday... but dammit this won't be the last time though.

It's too early to enter real life and wake up every morning at the same time to do the same routine, go to the office and think... "my life is going to be like this for the next 40 years, great...". In the mean time, I've considered picking up a Masters degree, becoming a snowboarding bum, write a book on how to do as little work at work as possible, and hopefully figuring out a way to make money and not have to cringe every morning of the 'rest of my life'. And if my aforementioned book ever gets publish, no corporation in their right mind would want to hire me anyway, right?

Overeating in Ottawa

Went to Ottawa this weekend to see muffin and muffin-top (or moreover to get away from the boredom of winter in Kingston with an unpredictable heating system in my apartment). The first evening started off with a massive food-fest at the East India Company for a buffet. As with all buffets, I will eat the fair value and then some - though with all the spices used this didn't bode too well in the end. I have to admit their curries were only ok, but their tomato salad was delicious, and the rice pudding was both delicious and heart burn calming.

The second night we stuffed ourselves again at The Works, which is apparently a rather infamous Ottawa burger chain that started out as a chip truck - always a good sign. We waited nearly two hours for our burgers (they have so many to choose from!), but the best part was the tower of onion rings, and getting our drinks in measuring cups. I was unable to move for most of the night - delicious.
